IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR ALL WHOLESALE & RETAIL MEDICINE SHOP OWNERS HFR PHARMACY REGISTRATION 2026 Registration Target Date: 31 October 2026 Under Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) — National Health Authority, Government of India All Wholesale and Retail Medicine Shop Owners are requested to complete their Health Facility Registry (HFR) Registration under the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM). Before registering the pharmacy, the Owner or Authorized Facility Manager should obtain an HP/HPR ID and prepare all relevant documents, licence details, photographs, and accurate shop location information. REQUIRED DOCUMENTS & CHECKLIST ☑ Aadhaar Card & Aadhaar-Linked Mobile Number — Of the Owner / Authorized Facility Manager; mobile number must be active for OTP verification. ☑ ABHA ID & HP/HPR ID — Prepare the ABHA (Ayushman Bharat Health Account) ID and create the HP/HPR ID before starting HFR registration. ☑ Valid Retail Drug Licence — Applicable to Retail Medicine Shops. ☑ Valid Wholesale Drug Licence — Applicable to Wholesale Medicine Shops. ☑ Registered Pharmacist Registration Certificate — Relevant for Retail Pharmacies, as applicable under licensing requirements. ☑ Competent Person (CPI) Qualification / Supporting Documents — Applicable to Wholesale Medicine Shops according to licensing requirements. ☑ Shop Signboard Photograph — Clear front-facing photograph showing the shop name and signboard. ☑ Shop Building / Front Exterior Photograph — Clear photograph of the complete shop entrance and building exterior. ☑ Shop Address Proof — Electricity Bill, Rent Agreement, Ownership Proof, or other valid address document, as applicable. ☑ Trade Licence / GST Registration Certificate — Keep available wherever applicable. ☑ Exact GPS Location (Latitude & Longitude) — Accurate geographical coordinates and complete shop address, including PIN Code. ☑ Business Contact Details — Active Mobile Number, Email Address, and Shop Working Days / Hours. Note: This is a document-preparation checklist. Not every item is necessarily a mandatory upload in the HFR portal. Actual requirements depend on the facility category, available portal fields, and applicable regulatory instructions. --- STEP-BY-STEP REGISTRATION PROCESS STEP 1 — Prepare Aadhaar & ABHA Details Keep the Owner's / Authorized Facility Manager's Aadhaar Card, Aadhaar-linked mobile number, and ABHA details ready. ABHA Portal: https://abha.abdm.gov.in/ STEP 2 — Create HP/HPR ID Visit https://hpr.abdm.gov.in/ - Select Registration / Register Here. - Complete Aadhaar authentication and OTP verification. - Select the appropriate role, such as Facility Manager / Administration, where applicable. - Enter personal and contact details. - Complete the required registration steps and generate the HP/HPR ID. STEP 3 — Login to HFR Portal Visit https://facility.abdm.gov.in/ - Login using your HP/HPR credentials. - Search for any existing registration of the shop. - Select Add New Facility if the shop is not already registered. STEP 4 — Enter Pharmacy Details - Pharmacy / Medical Store Name - Retail / Wholesale Business Details, as applicable - Ownership and Facility Category - Complete Shop Address - State, District and PIN Code - Mobile Number and Email Address - Working Days and Business Hours STEP 5 — Enter Drug Licence & Professional Details Keep the valid Retail or Wholesale Drug Licence Number ready, as appropriate. Provide the relevant Registered Pharmacist or Competent Person details wherever required. STEP 6 — Add Shop Photographs & GPS Location - Shop Signboard Photograph - Shop Exterior / Building Photograph - Accurate Latitude and Longitude - Applicable Supporting Documents Upload photographs and documents where the portal requests them. STEP 7 — Review, E-Sign & Submit Verify all information, complete E-Sign where prompted, submit the registration, and save the HFR Facility ID / Acknowledgement. STEP 8 — Verification & Approval Check the registration status through the HFR portal and complete any additional verification requested by the concerned authority. --- IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS - A Retail Medicine Shop should have a valid Retail Drug Licence. - A Wholesale Medicine Shop should have a valid Wholesale Drug Licence. - Shops holding both licences should keep both licence details ready. - The HP/HPR ID should be prepared before starting the facility registration. - Aadhaar, ABHA, and HP/HPR are different identifiers and should not be confused. - Ensure that the shop photographs, address, and GPS coordinates match the actual business location. - HFR registration does not replace a statutory Drug Licence.
